Document Automation

Your documents.
Your templates. One click.

Most legal software starts from its own form library. LexiSync fills the documents your firm already uses — engagement letters, motions, your state’s court forms, your intake questionnaire — straight from the case file.

Set it up once. Use it forever.

A firm administrator does this — not a consultant, not an implementation team, and not us unless you’d like us to. Most documents take a few minutes.

1
Upload the document you already send
Any Word file or PDF. Your engagement letter with your letterhead and your clauses. The petition your firm has used for nine years. The standard form your court requires. Nothing needs to be rebuilt, reformatted, or recreated in someone else’s builder — the file you upload is the file that comes out.
2
The system finds every blank on its own
Client names, dates, dollar amounts, party details, custom clauses — each fill-in spot is detected and read in context. For every one, you get a proposed source and a confidence rating: pull it from the case file, use a firm-wide constant, have someone type it at generation time, or leave it blank.
3
Confirm it once, on a split screen
Your real document sits on one side; the detected fields on the other. Click any field and it highlights exactly where it lives on the page, so there is no guessing about what the system thinks it found. Accept it, rename it, change where it comes from, or tell it to leave that spot alone. Fields we have no data for — the deep financial details a case management system was never going to hold — you simply mark as manual.
4
Generate from any matter, in seconds
After that one review, any attorney opens a matter and presses a button. The document comes back filled, in your exact format — correct fonts, correct spacing, correct structure — with anything still outstanding flagged so nothing goes out half-finished. Roughly ninety percent of the document is done before you read the first line.

The same engine, running backwards.

Generating documents and collecting information are the same problem in opposite directions. Upload your intake questionnaire and LexiSync builds a clean digital form from it — one your clients can fill out from a phone.

01
Upload your questionnaire
The intake form your firm already uses — the one currently living as a PDF download on your website or a stack of paper at the front desk.
02
Decide where answers land
The same review screen. For each question: put it straight into the client’s matter record, keep it on file, or skip it. Once.
03
Send it and it comes back structured
Through the secure client portal, or upload a completed paper copy yourself. Either way the answers arrive as data attached to the matter.

Nothing updates the file until an attorney approves it. Client answers arrive as a proposed change you review, not as edits that quietly land in your matter. And because the intake data is structured the moment it arrives, the documents in the section above can generate from it immediately — the client’s information is entered once, by the client, and never re-typed by anyone.

The format is the whole point.

Ask any attorney why they haven’t automated their documents and the answer is some version of “because mine have to look exactly like this.” Court forms are rigid by design. Firm documents carry years of accumulated judgment in their language.

Any jurisdiction
Your state’s forms, not a national approximation.
A financial disclosure in Colorado is not the one in Rhode Island, and neither is the one in Florida. Because you bring the form, the jurisdiction is whatever your practice is — and a firm that takes a case in a new county isn’t waiting on us to support it.
Any document
Not just the documents someone predicted you’d need.
Engagement letters, retainer agreements, petitions, motions, parenting plans, settlement agreements, demand letters, records requests, closing statements. The engine doesn’t know or care what kind of document it is — it only cares where each field comes from.

A two-attorney family practice runs this today. A completed client intake form produces court-ready documents in the firm’s exact template, correct fonts and formatting, ready for review. What used to take a staff member half a day now takes one click — and the client’s details are entered once instead of three times.

Hand us the folder and we’ll do it.

Document automation is unlimited in every plan and most firms set it up themselves. If you’d rather not spend the afternoon, send us your templates and your intake form and we’ll map them for you.
